We have developed many partnerships with local organizations, working together with one goal in mind—to help the community of San Francisco attain employment. These partnerships have helped the Technology Center to make an impact on reducing the unemployment rate in the San Francisco Bay Area. We will help you prepare for that perfect job by assisting in creating a cover letter and resume, conducting mock interviews, and by providing resources for the best interview attire, giving you the confidence to land that job.

Open Access Lab

 

Our open access lab offers participants free computer use, personal and professional, during our open hours every weekday. Clients who may not have computers at home are able to access ours to surf the internet, chat with their families and friends online, do their school/research work, job search, apply for employment, develop their resume or cover letter, and much more. We do not have a time restraint on the use of the open access computers, just that everyone respects the Center and each other.

Job Fairs

Our job fairs have been successful for all of the clients that have attended, seeking employment. We have seen 90-100% of the participants attain employment through our job fairs. We will continue to offer job fairs to the community on an on-going basis, and have local job fair postings and job opportunities posted at the Center.

Guard Card Training

 

To meet the demand for Security Guards in the Bay Area, the Technology Center has developed a high-quality training program that enables the community to acquire their security guard card. Our classes have included men and women, civilians, and veterans. 100% of our participants have acquired their security guard card and employment with local security companies. This program has become an ongoing training class at the Center.  We will continue to seek and implement new training programs to meet the needs of the communities of San Francisco.
